10 Essential Books from the last 25 Years

I have only read 4 off the list and 5 off the shortlist.

How about you?

I’ve only read 3 total! Honestly, I think the list is a bit trendy. I’m not sure some of those books belong on there, especially A Million Little Pieces.

5 off of the list (The Road, Fight Club, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, Infinite Jest, and A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius)

4ish off of the shortlist (The Corrections, Harry Potter, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, and currently reading Everything Is Illuminated; also, I started Middlesex, but I hated it so I put it down)

I’m surprised not more people have read The Giver.  I’ve read it twice.  It’s wonderful.
