iPad: What a horrible name.
I don’t mean to go all AntiKris on everyone but does anyone else think of the sanitary napkin when hearing/seeing iPad?
I mean, if it wasn’t for all the hype, I would have thought Apple was about to launch a line of tampons next that you can get on the internet prior to use or something.
Who is in control of the naming of products people?!
iPad: helping one lady at a time.
One last shameful thing:
I stayed up with mom tonight to watch “The Pregnancy Pact” on Lifetime with my mom. It’s about those girls up in Massachusetts who all got preggers at once and were all friends, yadda yadda yadda.
Well, it was crap. I was literally “doh!”ing myself once every ten minutes or so. And the main character was awful. You couldn’t tell if she was about to cry or...
The Sunday Game Plan:
Finish all homework for this week.
Vacuum.
Read.
Go somewhere nice for early brunch tomorrow. Maybe get some coffee too.
Maybe, it I get around to it, do homework for the next week too, since I’ll be out of town next weekend.
Go up to mom and dad’s again.
Of course, all this is if I get to feeling better. I have a weird feeling I’m going to wake up sick tomorrow morning...
I went home tonight...
And for the first time in a very long time, I cried to my mother. Sobbed.
Everything seems to be so right and others seem to be so wrong. It’s a constant scale, having to level things out.
She told me something that has at least turned off the sprinkler system for the time being: “You cannot help how you feel and what goes on in your head. You are a bi-product of your past. Once...

Book Review: "The English Patient" by Michael...
In all actuality, this is a very unique love-esque type story. Through the many books I’ve read, this one is much more different. The story is based around four people all intertwined with one another in some way but with one thing in common, love and compassion. They’re all learning a trait from another person while staying in an abandoned nunnery turned hospital in a war torn...

Some Things:
I’m really happy about having wireless internet now.
I’m excited about my wireless printer. It’s amazing and stuff.
Brothers printer Technical Support is the best technical support I’ve ever dealt with. He literally spent 45 minutes on the phone with me to make sure I knew how to change my password and so on. We manually did everything so it’s entirely...
The Boyfriend would be so Proud!
So I just spent the last 2.5 hours setting up my computer’s wireless router AND putting my new printer to wireless. So as I sit on my ass in front of a fire and television eating pizza and drinking PBR while reading about Astronomy (yes, I am THAT good of a multi-tasker), I can print out stuff I need to read for my early British Literature class.
(Don’t tell him I had to call both...

This Week (Planned so Far) in a Nutshell:
Monday
Work
Call vet to see a) if they’re open and b) if I can get a cat spaying appointment ASAP.

First day of class. Hear my oh-so-not joyful noise. “Booooo!”
Go to Financial Aid to ensure I’m still full-time, not part-time.

A List:
I have two cinnamon rolls I made yesterday sitting on the stove for breakfast. They’re cold and when I heat them up in the microwave they get really hot, cooling to a rubbery consistency.
I got my refund check in the mail yesterday. Needless to say, once it gets cashed I’ll be officially out of debt with money to save up for the next trip out of the country. The problem is, I was...

Long live what’s left of decent TV.
(Although if it was a choice between Leno and Ferguson, I’d have to choose the Scot.)
but to be fair, Conan got screwed!
Okay, I’m about to get a virtual ass-kicking, I feel. Sure, we can admit that Conan got screwed. But when the ratings aren’t getting up...
